ZADD Martial Arts Centre

ZADD Martial Arts Centre or simply known as Gelanggang Sunway was registered in 2007, by Azlan Azman who is also the instructor for this centre. The priority focus of this centre is the art of self defense. This gelanggang teaches silat as its base art and the style is of Seni Silat Setiabakti. More info on this silat can be viewed from http://zaddmac.tripod.com/ or http://silatsetiabakti.blogspot.com/ . This gelanggang syllabus emphasize more on self defense than sports combat. Our practitioners MUST be able to defend and use the 'rotan' before they are allowed to take up sports combat for tournaments. This is due to the ever increasing crime and practitioners must be exposed to the real life situation and how to protect or even fight back when the need arised. There are big difference in sports combat and self defense even though both are of the martial arts genre.
